There is nothing like being able to capture branding portraits for a fellow business owner. Over the last year, over 800,000 businesses have opened. People have relied on their ingenuity and creativity as they navigated the last year and it’s amazing to meet other business owners every single day. It’s one of the reasons I love branding portraits. Branding portraits are a representation of you and your business to the world. They’re one of the first things a potential client sees when they’re engaging with you. So, when Washington DC wedding planner Melissa of B Astonished Events reached out to me about capturing branding photos, I couldn’t wait!
Washington DC Branding Portraits
When Melissa reached out, she asked about me capturing branding portraits that documented her business, which includes teaching other planners. So, I met up with her and her student Melissa to create her branding portraits. As with all of my branding clients, I work closely with my client before the session to make sure I truly understand their business and what they hope to achieve with their images. From there, we can dive into the details about where to go, what to wear, and props to bring. I want all of my clients to feel supported through the entire planning process!
As a business owner, I get it: no one wants to get in front of the camera. When I first started out, I hid behind a logo I created because I didn’t have the opportunity to take “fancy” photos of myself and the business. Now, after more time in business, I truly understand how important it is to make time for sessions like this. Your clients want to know who you are behind the camera – or computer. I know it isn’t easy, but if you’re thinking about getting new photos for your business, this is your sign now’s the time! Together, we’ll make sure you have a plethora of images to choose from that appeal to your customers and represent your brand. In the meantime, take a look through Melissa’s photos and get some ideas for your own branding session!
