Being a photographer is all about capturing special moments for my clients. And when I get to grow with my clients, capturing them through various stages of life, my heart feels so full. Shireen is one of those people that I’ve had the honor of working with for years. I used to work with Shireen years ago in a medical facility. She’s an x-ray tech and has been one of my most loyal clients for many years. I feel lucky to have been a part of her life for this long! So when she reached out to me about capturing her maternity session, I couldn’t say yes fast enough! When Shireen mentioned she wanted to do an indoor session, I immediately got to planning her customized Washington DC studio maternity portraits. And now, I get to share them with you!

Washington DC Studio Maternity Portraits

As a DC photographer, I want to create a customized experience for all of my clients. Whether it’s your maternity session or wedding day, the portraits we capture should feel like YOU. Together we designed a beautiful session that focused on her and that beautiful belly of hers – thanks to a gorgeous white gown.

I absolutely love studio sessions. There’s so many benefits to having your shoot inside. For one, you can basically create just about any setup as you want – elaborate or not. Additionally, there’s always a place to change outfits and your look up, which means more variety in your session without a lot of stress. And of course, the biggest benefit is that you can have your session no matter what the weather is like outdoors! I’m seriously ALL about making your session as stress-free as possible.
