As someone who still gets anxiety in front of the camera, I had to get behind the lens to learn this lesson. There’s nothing I love more than seeing your face light up when you see yourself in your photos.

EXPERIENCE MATTERS.
More than anything, I want you to enjoy your time in front of the camera. Trust me, it’s more than possible! I’m a natural caretaker and an empath, so I’m never going to ask you to do something that will make you feel awkward or uncomfortable. My goal is to create an experience you’ll love just as much as your final product!

"PERFECT" IS OVERRATED.
I care more about capturing moments than about capturing perfection. I can always fix the exposure and the temperature, but we can’t go back in time to document a moment that has passed. Let’s seize the moment while it lasts — flaws and all.

First looks, large family photos, and special planned exits need a little extra love to move smoothly, and it’s love I’m happy to give. I don’t over direct, but I do provide direction to make sure the images and angles are flattering to you.

After we decide to work together, I send you a questionnaire that helps me get to know each of you as individuals and as a couple. Keep in mind that we’ll learn a lot about each other during our engagement session, where I can get an initial sense of how you interact and take direction. In the months leading up to the wedding, we talk, text, and plan constantly — whatever questions you have, I’m here to answer. By the time your wedding day comes, we’re like family!
