Allison and Marcus have been married for over two years, have one child, purchased their first home, and are dog parents when we began planning their THIRD anniversary session. As part of a few of my wedding packages I have a program called “client for life”. Because this program provides my wedding couples access to special opportunities, I can continue to capture their love as it matures and their families as they grow and change. For Allison and Marcus, that looked like meeting up for glamorous Capitol Hill anniversary portraits in Washington DC.
Capitol Hill Anniversary Portraits
Allison and Marcus had their anniversary portraits downtown in Capitol Hill. They got all dressed up and met me on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Allison wore a gorgeous white gown and Marcus was all decked out in a fitted blue suit. Honestly, they looked AMAZING! We laughed, joked, and posed all around the Library of Congress. Seriously, it was perfect. Afterwards, they enjoyed a romantic evening out together because you can’t get all dressed up for a photo session and then just go home!!
When we began to dream up their session, I was overjoyed for a few reasons! First, it’s beautiful to see families evolve and grow. It’s one thing to photograph a wedding, which is fun. But, to see your couples continue to grow and watch their love evolve over years truly makes my heart smile. Marriage is beautiful. Although it’s not always easy, it’s so amazing to see love grow between my couples, and watch the legacies that my families are building unfold before my eyes.
I love the couples and families I get to work with. Seriously, I am honored to capture their love stories and beyond. Our relationship doesn’t end at the conclusion of your wedding day… and I’m so thankful for that.
Allison and Marcus are featured on MunaLuchi Bridal, too!
